Alfa Romeo 4C Seat Mounting Pins

The most lightweight version of the Alfa Romeo 4C that left the Maserati factory in Modena is equipped with a fixed passenger seat. While weight-saving, mounting the seat back against the rear wall of the carbon fibre chassis leaves insufficient space to mount a harness bar or roll cage while retaining the original passenger seat. Breen Engineering therefore introduces seat mounting pins that make it possible to mount a harness bar or roll cage while retaining the original fixed seat.

During the development of the seat mounting pins, the focus was on maximum passenger safety, which is guaranteed by the use of high strength material. The pins are designed to withstand a load of 15 kN without breaking, severely deforming or becoming loose.

In addition, the pins feature an internal hexagon socket which allows for quick and easy mounting at the factory mounting points in the rear wall of the carbon fibre chassis.
